The D400 heading south toward Olympos is narrower and winding - don't choose a large SUV if you're inexperienced with mountain driving. Parking in Kemer center can be tight in July - August, book a spot at your hotel's parking if possible. How far is it from Kemer to Antalya airport?

It's about 55 km and takes approximately 50-60 minutes via D400 heading north, depending on traffic. Can I drive along the entire Lycian coast with a rental car from Kemer? Yes, D400 follows the coast south toward Finike, Kaş and Kalkan.

Allow 2-3 hours to Kaş, about 120 km away. Do I need four-wheel drive to visit Chimaera from Kemer? No, the road to Çıralı is paved all the way.

From there it's a 20-minute walk to the Chimaera flames.
