Park at Makedonija Square and walk up to the old town – cars are limited in the narrowest streets.

How do I get from Ohrid to Skopje by rental car? Drive the A2 east toward Kičevo and then the A3 north toward Skopje – 170 km and approximately 2 hours. The road passes through dramatic mountain landscapes and offers fine views.

Can I drive to Albania from Ohrid? Yes, the Sveti Naum-Tushemisht border crossing is 30 km to the south at the monastery. Check that your rental car agreement covers driving in Albania – not all rental companies allow it.

What is the best season to rent a car in Ohrid? June–September is high season with warm weather and full activity at the lake. May and October are quieter and cheaper options with pleasant temperatures for car trips in the region.
