Gozo's roads are narrower and hillier than Malta's – choose a small car. Visit the Azure Window site at Dwejra (7 km west) even though it collapsed in 2017 – the area is still beautiful.

Fill up your tank in Victoria – gas stations are rare in the countryside. How do you get to Gozo with a rental car? Drive to Ċirkewwa in northern Malta and take the ferry to Mġarr on Gozo – the journey takes 25 minutes.
